RATES
- rates are per person per night,
inclusive of VAT
- rates include accommodation, breakfast and use of the guest lounge
- management reserves the right to change rates without notice; however,
rates quoted for confirmed bookings will be honoured
PAYMENT
Deposit
- a 50% deposit of the total accommodation charge must be paid to secure a reservation
- the deposit is payable within 24 hours (RSA) and 3 days (international) of making the booking - after which any room allocated to the booking is released for re-sale
- all deposits are non refundable unless the reservation is cancelled at least 14 days before scheduled date of arrival and only if the room is then re-sold
Balance
- the outstanding balance of account and any additional expenses incurred during your stay
must be paid in full prior to departure
Payment
- payment may be made by any of the following means:
- cash
- bank/internet transfer
- debit or credit cards - VISA / Mastercard / Diners Club /Amex
- cheques - only accepted for deposits where there is adequate
time to ensure full bank clearance
- Any bank charges incurred by Gecko Beach House in relation to international funds transfers are to be met by the guest and will be added to the balance due on departure
BOOKINGS
Booking confirmation
- on receipt of a booking, a Notification of Booking Details will be sent to you - stating the
dates booked, the number of guests, the rate charged and the amount of deposit required
- upon receipt of the deposit, a Confirmation
of Reservation will be sent, restating the booking information and the balance of account to pay on departure
- confirmations will be sent by email, fax or post as required
- whilst every care is taken to ensure accuracy, it is the express responsibility of the client, on receipt of the confirmation, to check that the details of the reservation are correct
- any discrepancies must be notified immediately
Amendments to your booking
- should you wish to change the detail
of your reservation after it has been
confirmed, please do so in writing
- Please note that any
changes can only be made subject to room availability
Cancellations
- all cancellations must be made in writing
- all deposits
are non refundable, except if the reservation is cancelled
at least 14 days before scheduled date of arrival AND only
if the room has been resold
ARRIVAL AND DEPARTURE TIMES
- rooms will be available
at 14:00 on the day of booked arrival
- departure must be by 11:00 on the booked day of departure
- delayed departure is at the sole discretion of management and must be arranged in advance
- delayed departure is dependent on room availability
- when making your travel arrangements
it is your responsibility to ensure
you arrive on the correct day; no refund can be
given for delayed arrival or early departure
ACCOMMODATION
- the room allocated to the reservation is only for the use of the people specified
in the reservation
- the maximum occupancy of each room is 2 adults per room
- we do not accommodate persons under the
age of 18
- we do not accommodate pets
- specific room requests will be fulfilled wherever possible, however no obligation can be undertaken in this respect
INSURANCE
- it is your responsibility to take out appropriate personal travel insurance
DAMAGE TO CONTENTS / PROPERTY
- the client shall take all reasonable care of the room
allocated
- in the event of any damages to the room, a suitable
amount will be added to your final bill
to rectify the damage and/or replace the
item(s) affected
COMPLAINTS
- so that immediate action may be taken, any problems that arise during the course of your stay at Gecko Beach House should be notified immediately or within a reasonable period
- complaints after your stay at Gecko Beach House should be made in writing within 28 days of your departure
OUR LIABILITY
- neither Gecko Beach House, it's owners nor any of it's employees accepts any liability for any loss, injury or damage howsoever arising sustained by any person in or around the premises.
